To honor the life of Jake Burton, the inventor of snowboarding and founder of Burton Snowboards, we collaborated with Burton and Shinola to create a commemorative book. Across 288 pages, the book explores Jake’s adventure from fledgling entrepreneur with a tablesaw in the woods of Vermont to hero of a globe-spanning sport that has disrupted the traditional realm of the Olympics.
