Farmhand Foundation began with a question Tractor Beverage was already asking: how do you actually help the most important people in the country? A few years back we started collaborating with the organic soda company on exactly that, and a handful of our strategists and designers flew out to the California coast to spend time with their founders, watching rockets lift off in the distance while we talked the question through from a dozen angles. The answer became Farmhand Foundation, and we've been lucky to help shape it since. Logo, voice, communication strategy, all of it. A few years on, that vision now lives on a gorgeous piece of land in the Ojai valley called Moon & Oaks: a working farm, a research site, and a resource, built directly for the people who feed us.
